Clothing & Sizing Calculators

Shoe size, ring size, and clothing conversion calculators

Clothing and accessory sizing is one of the most frustrating sources of confusion in international commerce, because there are no truly universal size standards. The same hand can be a US size 7 ring, a UK size N, and an EU size 54. The same dress can be a US 6 and an EU 38 in one brand, US 8 and EU 40 in another. Our sizing calculators are designed to convert as accurately as possible given that no perfect conversion exists.

The dress size calculator handles the U.S. (numeric 0-22), UK (2-26), EU (32-56), Italian/Russian, and Japanese sizing systems for women's dresses and tops. Conversions use the most widely-published reference tables but vendor-specific deviations are common — always check the brand's actual size chart before buying.

The shoe size calculator handles men's and women's conversions across U.S., UK, EU, and Japan systems. We use the standard last-length-based conversion (each EU size increment is 6.67 mm). Athletic shoes, dress shoes, and boots can have meaningfully different fit even at the same labeled size.

The ring size calculator covers the major international systems (U.S. numeric, UK alphabetic, EU/Asian millimeter inside diameter, Japanese) and supports converting from either inside diameter or inside circumference. For mail-order ring purchases, measure inside circumference of an existing ring with a soft tape, not your finger directly — finger circumference varies throughout the day and changes with temperature.

The hat size and bra size calculators handle the same conversion math for those categories. Bra sizing is particularly complicated by the band/cup interaction (a 34C and a 36B have the same cup volume but different band sizes), and we follow the standard sister-sizing rules.

Conversion data comes from the publicly-available ISO and EN sizing standards plus industry-published cross-reference tables. Best practice for online clothing purchases: measure yourself, compare to the specific brand's size chart, and order based on body measurements rather than a labeled size in another country's system. Returns are expensive for both you and the seller.
